For those who have passed over the rainbow bridge but will forever have a home in our hearts

Nana

Cola

"We'll meet again, over the rainbow"

Our beautiful 12 year old German Shepherd, Cola joined the FFH sanctuary in 2023 with her younger sidekick, Shadow. This gorgeous old lady received a very sad diagnosis in January 2024. Cola was suffering from a very aggressive cancer. Unfortunately in September 2024 we had to say farewell to this amazing dog, her battle over, she is now at peace.

Grandad

Buggi

In October 2023, we said a fond farewell  to our beloved Grandad Buggi.

He joined us here at the Sanctuary in April as a retiree and has had a wonderful few months with us all. Buggi has been fighting a very aggressive cancer and unfortunately, the time has come to say goodbye, a decision that has not been made lightly and has hit our hearts hard!

"We have and will always love you dear boy but now it's time to rest. He will always be in my heart and I'll be with him and his previous owner as well as my Mum all there filling the room with love to say our farewell to him to find his friends over the rainbow bridge. I'm with you always Buggi! Thank you for being the best and teaching me so much! All my love, Always and Forever."

Our Angel

Maxie

Maxie came to us at the grand old age of 14, sadly the only owner he knew and loved his whole life passed away leaving Maxie without a human companion to care for him.

Maxie stayed with us until it was time to reunite with his owner.

He grew strength and character whilst with us and he touched many hearts who followed his journey with us.

Rescue is far from easy.

RIP MAXIE x

Nana

Luna

The one, the only Nana Luna brought a ray of sunshine to every day!

Luna was surrendered to the FFH Sanctuary after her elderly owner passed away. She lived out her days at the Sanctuary with Chelsea and Skye, she will be sadly missed. xx
